Product Introduction
The YGZ90 rock drill is a medium-deep hole drilling machine powered by compressed air, designed to work with the CTC14.2 dual-drill mining rig or the TJ25 disc-type drilling frame. As a compressed-air-powered medium-deep hole drilling equipment, the YGZ90 rock drill is mainly used in underground stopes for uphole fan or ring pattern drilling in rock engineering. It is suitable for tunnel sections ranging from 2.5×2.5 m to 3×3 m, drilling holes 50–80 mm in diameter with an effective depth of 30 m. When equipped with a 65 mm cross-type alloy drill bit in ore rock of hardness class F12–14, the YGZ90 rock drill achieves an average pure drilling speed of up to 680 mm/min. The drilling frame is simple in structure, easy to disassemble and transport, and operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.

The YGZ90 rock drill delivers high rotational torque, reducing the risk of drill bit jamming when working in fractured rock strata. In the event of a jam, the unit can switch to a low-impact rotation mode to clear the obstruction. The axial thrust offers a wide adjustment range, allowing for precise control.
Valveless Air Distribution for Enhanced Energy Efficiency
Both the impact and drill rod rotation sections of the YGZ90 rock drill feature a valveless air distribution design. This simplifies the internal structure and more efficiently harnesses the expansion energy of compressed air, thereby helping to reduce overall air consumption.

The machine body features a compact design, facilitating easy operation within the confined working environments typical of underground mining sites.
Applications
This machine is primarily used for drilling uphole parallel or fan-shaped blast holes in underground mining stopes. When paired with a surface drilling rig, it can drill downward or horizontal blast holes in small to medium-sized open-pit mines or rock engineering projects, and is also suitable for other operations requiring medium-deep hole drilling.
Operational Precautions
Prioritize High Air Pressure Operation: The working air pressure should not fall below 0.5 MPa to ensure the proper functioning and efficiency of the valveless air distribution system.
Ensure Adequate Lubrication: An oil injector must be used to provide a continuous and sufficient supply of lubricating oil; this prevents high-speed moving components from sustaining abrasive damage caused by localized overheating.
Optimize Operating Parameters: Flexibly adjust the impact energy, drill rod rotation speed, and axial thrust based on specific rock characteristics (such as hardness and the degree of fracturing) to achieve the optimal rock drilling speed.
