Product Introduction
The YGZ90 rock drill is a medium-deep hole drilling machine powered by compressed air, designed to work with the CTC14.2 dual-drill mining rig or the TJ25 disc-type drilling frame. As a compressed-air-powered medium-deep hole drilling equipment, the YGZ90 rock drill is mainly used in underground stopes for uphole fan or ring pattern drilling in rock engineering. It is suitable for tunnel sections ranging from 2.5×2.5 m to 3×3 m, drilling holes 50–80 mm in diameter with an effective depth of 30 m. When equipped with a 65 mm cross-type alloy drill bit in ore rock of hardness class F12–14, the YGZ90 rock drill achieves an average pure drilling speed of up to 680 mm/min. The drilling frame is simple in structure, easy to disassemble and transport, and operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Technical Features
Independent Impact & Rotation System:
The drill features separate mechanisms for impact and rotation, allowing you to independently adjust impact energy and rotation speed based on rock conditions. Its impact mechanism uses a valveless air distribution system that maximizes the expansion work of compressed air. The rotation unit is driven by a gear‑reduction system, while the gear‑type air motor is positioned on top of the drill to reduce overall length-making it especially suitable for confined underground mining spaces.
High Torque & Anti‑Jamming Design:
The YGZ90 rock drill delivers high rotation torque, which significantly reduces the risk of jamming when drilling through fractured or cavernous rock. Even if jamming occurs, the drill can clear the blockage using its low‑impact rotation mode. With a wide range of adaptable axial thrust, the machine offers greater operational ease and control.
Applications
This machine is primarily used for drilling uphole parallel or fan-shaped blast holes in underground mining stopes. When paired with a surface drilling rig, it can drill downward or horizontal blast holes in small to medium-sized open-pit mines or rock engineering projects, and is also suitable for other operations requiring medium-deep hole drilling.
