Usage Guidelines
Adequate Lubrication
An oiler needs to be put in the air intake line. You should add 1 to 2 liters of oil per shift. Do not operate without oil.
Air Pressure Control
The working air pressure must be between 0.5 and 0.63 MPa. If the pressure is too low the impact force will be weak. If it is too high it can damage parts.
Correct Chisel Selection
Choose the chisel bit for the job. Use a spade bit for asphalt. Use an flat bit for concrete.
Avoid Dry Firing
Do not use the tool without a chisel rod. Make sure the rod is pressed firmly against the material. This prevents damage to the piston and cylinder.
Daily Inspection
Check air hose connections for leaks, before each shift. Check screws for looseness. Clean off rock dust and water after use.
Safety Precautions
Wear safety goggles, earplugs, a dust mask and anti-vibration gloves when operating. Watch your step. Be aware of your surroundings.
