The YT29A rock drill is a heavy-duty pneumatic leg rock drill characterized by its high efficiency and low energy consumption. It is specifically designed for use in medium-hard to hard rock formations (f=8–18). Capable of drilling horizontal holes, inclined holes, and upward-facing anchor holes, it offers a drilling diameter range of 34–45 mm and a maximum depth of 5 meters. This drill is ideally suited for tunneling projects across various sectors, including railways, highways, hydropower, metallurgy, and coal mining. Depending on specific working conditions, the YT29A can be paired with various pneumatic legs-including the FT160A, FT160C (long leg), FT160B (short leg), or FT170-or it can be mounted on a drilling rig or frame to perform either dry or wet drilling operations.
