When paired with the FY250 line oiler and the FT160 series air-leg, the YT27 is capable of performing wet drilling-creating horizontal or inclined blast holes-in medium-hard to hard rock formations. Furthermore, by detaching the air-leg, the unit can be mounted onto a drilling rig for mechanized operation.
