Oil deterioration affects lubrication and sealing performance, while filter blockage leads to insufficient air intake and increased energy consumption. Therefore, it is necessary to address these issues according to the prescribed schedule or when a differential pressure alarm sounds. Simultaneously, the cooling system fan, belt tension, and safety valves should be functionally verified to ensure effective heat dissipation and safety.

Quarterly maintenance or maintenance every 2000-4000 operating hours is a medium-cycle procedure, including more thorough cleaning of the lubrication system, replacement of the oil separator filter, inspection of rotor or piston assembly clearances, and testing of motor insulation resistance. For units operating in dusty, high-temperature, or humid environments, this cycle should be appropriately shortened to offset the effects of accelerated environmental degradation.

Annual maintenance or major overhaul maintenance every 8000-12000 operating hours covers disassembly and inspection of the main unit, bearing replacement, seal replacement, alignment and control system calibration, and, if necessary, rotor dynamic balancing. This is a crucial step in maintaining long-term performance and reliability and should not be neglected due to short-term stable operation.

In general, the maintenance cycle for air compressors should follow a progressive principle of "daily inspection-regular maintenance-preventive overhaul," and should be flexibly adjusted according to the actual condition of the equipment. Institutionalized and documented periodic management can form a closed-loop maintenance system, providing a solid guarantee for the continuous, efficient, and safe operation of equipment.
