Product Description
The Mining Stoper Drill is specifically engineered for rock drilling operations in mining, shaft sinking, and tunneling. It can drill upward blast holes at angles ranging from 60° to 90° relative to the horizontal plane, and is also suitable for installing wedge-type anchor bolts or for raising operations.
Compared to other rock drill models, the Mining Stoper Drill excels in overhead and steep-angle drilling applications commonly encountered in underground excavation. It is designed for rock with hardness levels of f=8–18 and is available in a universal version featuring a high-strength, lightweight alloy body. Its structural performance is comparable to international equivalents, with fully interchangeable wedge block assemblies. Additionally, the same drill body can be fitted with two different wedge block lengths to accommodate a wider range of working conditions.

Operating Procedures
Before drilling, inspect all components (including the Mining Stoper Drill, support frame, or drill jumbo) for integrity and proper movement. Lubricate as necessary, and check that air and water lines are clear and all connections are secure.
Conduct "scaling" around the working face to check for loose rocks in the roof and walls, and address any hazards before starting.
Smooth the intended drill hole locations on the working face to prevent bit slippage or hole deviation.
Dry drilling is strictly prohibited. Always use wet drilling. Start water flow before starting the air supply, and shut off air before water when stopping. Begin drilling at low speed and increase to full speed only after reaching a certain depth.
The helper holding the drill steel must not wear gloves.
When using an air-leg, pay attention to posture and positioning. Do not apply pressure with your body, and never stand directly in front of the drill or under the drill steel to avoid injury from steel breakage.
If abnormal noise or irregular flushing is observed during operation, stop the Mining Stoper Drill immediately. Identify and resolve the issue before resuming.
When retracting the drill or changing the steel, operate at low speed. Be mindful of the drill steel's position to prevent automatic detachment and injury, and close the air supply promptly.
When retracting the support leg of the Mining Stoper Drill, hold the drill steel to prevent it from falling and causing injury.
Structural Features
The Mining Stoper Drill features a modular cylinder and piston assembly that allows for easy maintenance and part replacement. Its air-leg mechanism is built with a reinforced aluminum alloy cylinder, providing a smooth and reliable telescopic stroke. All connections are designed with robust seals to prevent leakage of air and water, ensuring consistent performance in damp or dusty underground environments.
Our Factory
Hebei Fengzhe Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. possesses comprehensive production capabilities spanning the entire chain-from raw blank processing to complete machine assembly-and is equipped with multiple assembly lines and specialized testing equipment. Critical manufacturing stages are subject to designated point inspections, and prior to leaving the factory, every rock drill undergoes rigorous bench testing to verify core performance metrics, such as impact frequency and air consumption. The company's flagship product, the YT28 rock drill, maintains a stable annual output of over 8,000 units, while the facility is simultaneously capable of fulfilling bulk orders for various product series, including the YT, Y, B, and G lines.
